Taking the plunge

Hi everyone, I wanted to open with a lovely photo of flowers from my bridal shower this weekend. This is a gorgeous arrangement that my friend's mother put together on the fly for me to take home. The shower was so special and I loved every moment of it.

For those of you who don't already know--and you probably do--I am getting married in less than three weeks. And that means it's time for me to take the plunge--into the world of scrapbooking. Yes, Adam and I bought our first scrapbook today to save mementos and put our special photos from everything related to our big day--including photos and memories from the bridal shower.

At the moment, I don't have any plans to go to scrapbooking conventions (the Crop, for those in-the-know), but I may in the future--as long as they don't interfere with any alpaca conventions. I am a knitter first, after all.

I will post updates soon, but for now I'm up to my elbows in planning. I did manage to sew a square for my Grandma Hazel's quilt last night. I stayed up late watching Breakfast at Tiffany's and cutting triangles. Of course I forgot to take a photo. Stick with me and I will soon, I promise.

Below is our quaint table setting with the sweet floral arrangement. So charming.

Type to you soon, my friends.
