Weekend morning in our casa

Before I run off to go sew something (remember I promised to show you the ugliest nightgown ever?) I feel compelled to post breakfast pictures. If you look closely at the table, you can see the pattern for Butterick pattern 6838 and the cut-out pieces ready to sew.

I should also note that it's not the pattern's fault that this nightgown is/will be ugly. It's my choice of fabric and also a questionable decision to embroider additional designs on the fabric in an attempt to blunt the effect of my terrible fabric choice. At this point, it's a race to the bottom.

Tonight we are taking a page from this blogger and having breakfast for dinner. Adam has promised to make buttermilk waffles and tame once-and-for-all our persnickety waffle iron. Wish us luck!

But first, we must dance to this song.

And browse beautiful dresses from the Miss Wu line. And sigh, as I wish I could sew something as lovely.
